Delete your Cricket Nuffy data

Cricket Nuffy has no account, so there is nothing to close. Here is how to remove what the game stores and how to ask us to delete purchase records.

Delete data on your phone

Your progress, Runs, Nuffies, decorations, quiz scores, streak and settings live only on your phone. To remove them:

  • Open Android Settings > Apps > Cricket Nuffy > Storage, and tap Clear storage (some phones say Clear data). The game starts fresh next time you open it.
  • Or uninstall Cricket Nuffy. Android deletes its stored data with it.

Either way, purchases you made can be brought back later with Settings > Restore purchases.

Delete purchase verification records

When you buy something, our verification server stores a one-way hash of the purchase token, the product ID, the order ID, the purchase state, and timestamps. It holds no name or email. To have these records deleted, email support@webdevnc.com with the subject Cricket Nuffy data deletion request and include your Google Play order ID. You can find it in your Google Play order history or on your purchase receipt.

We reply within 30 days to confirm the deletion or to tell you if we could not match the order ID. Deleting a record can mean we can no longer verify that purchase, so keep your Google Play receipt.

Advertising data

Ad data is handled by Google under its own policies. To stop new data being tied to you, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, and, where your region requires it, change your choice in the game under Settings > Privacy options. See the privacy policy for details.

Analytics and crash data

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is tied to random IDs created on your phone, not to your name, email or Google account, so we cannot look it up for you. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data resets those IDs, and new data is not linked to the old data. Analytics event data is removed after our retention period of at most 14 months, and crash reports after 90 days. See the privacy policy for details.

What we cannot delete

  • Google keeps your Google Play purchase records under its own policies. Manage them in your Google account.
  • Data Google collects for ads is held by Google, not by us.
